Socialblade has a live count function too - they're dropping a 1000 subs an hour right now, which means in a year and a half they will have no subscribers. Lol.
 
At the very least, they didn't do a very good job getting their message across clearly, given the hellstorm of criticism that has poured out in response to their announcement. But as someone who watched them launch "Kids vs. Food" long AFTER our kids eating candy format was a proven success (and I'm sure @Wreckless Eating is aware of their show too) it's a little hard to feel sorry for them. But hey, it's cool to see so many people getting passionate about YouTube, proves it's still very relevant.
 
And the rabbit hole goes deeper. It turns out there was a seniors react. The scum brothers took them down and then started elders react a few months later. At this point their whole youtube should be banned considering the blatant bullying/harassment/stealing and content thieving they do.

I think what they are doing is load of bull... (you know what).

On reddit there is a post where (if true) they threatened Ellen because she showed few old pieces of technology to kids. I mean - REALLY? Are they that greedy?

Then instead of saying you infringe on their trademark title, they will say you copy their format. Because people responding to stuff? Holy sh*t that belongs to us!

By the way, there is a pro bono (free) lawyer trying to oppose and reverse these trademark registrations on behalf of anyone who feels they might be affected by these registrations in the future (as in, you probably need to have an actual case, no matter how small, not just be angry about it). Love watching the Fine Bros. React videos, but these guys seriously thought this would be received positively? I'm sure these guys probably make thousands of dollars each video. Making people jump through hoops just to make a similar video(that's not ripoff) is somewhat silly. They're not the first ones to make reaction videos, they're just the first ones to make it big on Youtube doing reaction videos.

Yep and it's an even bigger pile of garbage with them trying to do huge damage control as well as divert attention by grouping everyone to the small minority of people who are the racists/antisemites. Exactly what was said was going to happen earlier with them trying to play the victim card (which is amazing considering they attacked ellen for "stealing" their format).

The only thing they can do to save face is to apologize, and delete their channel forever. But that will never happen since they are greedy bastards who do nothing but profit from others.
