Promoting Videos DOES Work

I've used the promotion tool for 1 video and it almost hit 1k but I recommend it
not because it gets you views well theres views but it also makes me want to keep editing and when I don't feel like editing I go look at the views and then get motivated but it definitely is worth the money thrown at it especially your views on your video WOW
ummm I didn't use a program, I found a good source that shared my video... It cost $0. Most people on here ask how to promote videos, I share ways that I find that work for me... If you are really interested do a search on my past threads, you'll have to sift through videos of people getting hurt and creepy videos but you'll eventually find them[DOUBLEPOST=1435384636,1435384330][/DOUBLEPOST]
Adwords gets you A LOT of views. Like, 100 per dollar. I wonder how effective it would be to use all your Adsense revenue to fund your Adwords campaign...
ummm.... I think the point of this post got lost somewhere... I paid $0 and got up to around 150k views on one video in about a month and a half span. It came from one single interaction that caused a chain reaction. If you've seen my past strategy posts, I'm all about paying $0 and getting results from strategic social media strategy. It's kind of a game for me lately and I get that rush when I see simple strategies become very effective. I'm like the spy of Yttalk, I share my secrets without giving everything away. I'm sure you can follow any of my old tips for whatever type of video you do and figure something out... I just lay the tools out there, I don't do the whole process for you.

hahah I can handle those sorts of videos =p time to go on search if it cost $0 then i'm all for it too =]

Just remember, I get my big shares on dog videos, not many people in here do the same thing so the same strategies won't be exactly the same... Like I always say on the posts though, just use the thought process and don't follow my steps verbatim or it will never work.

So I tried facepunch.com, mainly because you said you need to be tough to go there. I didn't see any intro section and I read in the General Discussion rules not to post threads just to announce that you were a new member, so I figured you were just supposed to join in. Instead of me getting eaten alive, though, they seem to be more afraid of me because I got banned immediately.

hahaha what the hell did you do??? I post some of the dumb videos I share here and every once in a while I'll throw one of mine in (I make sure the video is something they will like). The only times I have been banned there is when I posted a video of a person kicking a wall with a toothpick under their toenail and the guy getting maggots pulled from out of his gums. I got banned for Gore for a few weeks lol. The maggot video got me in trouble here too

I posted my most popular video as my first post. I mentioned that I didn't have time at the moment to find the place where you post proper introductions as I was just heading home from work, so I was just leaving them with a video for now. When I got home my email indicated I had a positive comment on it, but when I went to go look, it said I was banned by Craptasket because I "joined to advertise channel". I have one chance to appeal it, but I can't honestly say that wanting to promote my videos wasn't the reason I joined in the first place (I went there because you mentioned it was a good place to promote if you can handle the criticism), so I don't know what to do. I thought about pleading that I was intending to be a regular member, but looking through the rest of the forum, I can't find myself being interested in most of it, so I don't know how I can say that.

I think when I mention Facepunch I say to not post your own video as a first post, they roast people for that. I generally get around at least 1,000 views each time I post a video in there. I'd say 95 percent of what I post in there is just things I find online that aren't mine. When I do post my stuff I don't hide that it's mine, I'll post a message with the backstory behind it and generally get positive feedback. I've seen one guy who's first thread was about 10 videos of his and for some reason everyone accepted it and the thread got over 15k views last time I saw it. He did get a lot of comments saying that's a s****y way to introduce himself.

I usually recommend most people not going to Facepunch unless you have something that is like the stuff everyone posts there so it will fit in.

Promoting videos on right places is kinda hard. I wish I knew that technique so that my videos gets a roller coaster growth in views ;)

Yeah I agree just keep promoting your stuff and it'll get noticed eventually :)
Just gotta baby it though... I normally send maybe two or three "test" messages to each person and not back to back. This way it doesn't look like spamming... One other way I test the waters too is to share a picture with them. It's really easy and fast to look at a pic, so that's a good way to see if they actually respond to messages or not
