Look at the original spike back in May! Notice the video only had about 4k views before this over a period of 5 months lol! For the few days after this there was not a single minute that went by that this video wasn't being viewed! I was hoping Buzzfeed or 9gag caught a glimpse of this from all the sites sharing, but they didn't :(

Well the saddest thing about cases like this is that most of the time it all happens without your control.

Well yes, you have a little bit of control but how many share you did before that wouldn't so successful? I've did a lot ;D

This is true... I've found a few consistent sharing pages on Facebook, but this one was by far the best results so far. I got an email yesterday about another video they want to possibly share. It's one of those things, once you find a good source try not to ruin it by spamming them. Ultimately it would be awesome for them to subscribe and share every video! I see them share a lot of Maymo's videos so I bet they are subscribed to his channel.

It's so great they asked you! I think you are really dealing with some cool guys here.

Often times people just upload your own videos on their facebook fanpage without even mentioning about you as an creator :/

Yes I've seen that a lot. When scoping out sources I make sure they upload YouTube videos and not just rip and post to their page. I did allow one radio station to upload directly to their Facebook as long as they put a link to my channel. I got a bunch of subscribers from that... They said uploading my YouTube video would mess up their meta data or something
 
I've used the promotion tool for 1 video and it almost hit 1k but I recommend it
not because it gets you views well theres views but it also makes me want to keep editing and when I don't feel like editing I go look at the views and then get motivated but it definitely is worth the money thrown at it especially your views on your video WOW
 
Adwords gets you A LOT of views. Like, 100 per dollar. I wonder how effective it would be to use all your Adsense revenue to fund your Adwords campaign...
