This is a great way to look at it, because really, we do tend to get caught up in the numbers game - I think we're all guilty of that now and then. But what really matters is who is watching and enjoying your videos. If you're making one person smile/feel/think, it's worth it!
 
Sub for subs are just a waste of time and effort really. I don't see the point of them, surely it's better to know that the people subscribed to you enjoy & get your content

And I think that's the best way to go. If you just see the number of subs and not the humans behind them, then you're fooling yourself. Probably even more than anyone else who can easily tell from the view/sub ration whether your subs are genuine or not.

You gain some and you loose some. I think every subscriber you loose wasn't watching your video's anyway so don't worry and move on, keep releasing the vids and hopefully this results in loyal subs!
 
Trust me, even the huge Youtube accounts lose subs, and not just one.. like a lot!
I've lost a lot myself! You just got to think, not everybody will like what you do, but when you get your audience it's all good
The right people will come just keep going ! Do not give up don't let one person get you down. :)
we all start somewhere.
