CPM ridiculously low?

When you say "CPM", what figure are you actually talking about? Everytime someone mentions "CPM", they seem to be using a different definition and it's confusing because everyone ends up comparing apples with oranges.

Is this the "playback based CPM" figure in analytics or are you in fact talking about RPM? (money earned per 1000 total views)

I've had a 55% drop from decembers $10[DOUBLEPOST=1389083641,1389082825][/DOUBLEPOST]
Flatline. My graph looks like the patient has died and no longer has a heartbeat.

This made me laugh like hell!
Except that your "flatline" probably has a "m value" or y-intercept of ~25o ;)

He's still getting worse on me ;(

Not entirely sure why your graph has 40+ dots XD but if each dot represents a day then yea, damn you're CPM has already been dropping since Christmas. Do you have a view per day graph for that same time period to compare if that decrease in earnings is partially from a lower viewership?

But anyways, it will climb back up guys. Most of the people I've seen in this thread that are posting analytic graphs of their CPM, including myself, are very fortunate to even be in the position that we are in. (Not that we didn't work hard for it, but timing and a bit of luck I can fairly confidently say played a factor) And for that I am infinitely thankful!

Well, since I showed zeroes on the left, it can't be 250...
Yeah, it's higher =)

From my knowledge, although I wasn't going to say anything, I see many points on that chart that are near or exceed 300$ in a day xD. (mostly near)

Gratz on your success. How much do you lose from taxes if you don't mind me asking.

A ballpark guesstimate answer is fine if you want to.

Pretty much then yes.. If your estimated earnings are the same as your payout then your MCN has sold/served no ads on your channel for that month.

I think you'll find this "premium advertising" is a myth in 95% of cases..
Can anyone else confirm this.
Yup thats an interesting thing, can anyne else confirm this thing Shane mentioned? Its a very important thing to know if its true!

First Quarter is generally low, towards forth you'll see super high CPM. Because I make videos full time, i try to save up a bit of cash at the end of the year, to help me get through the start of the next year.

Damn, my playback based CPM has dropped $20 since the 27th of December! Hahaa that's quite a lot, but it's still above $15 now so should be fine for the upcoming months...

I'm still flat-lining. 7 days straight, half my December daily earnings.
It's still twice as much as I was making from the Post Office though.
