Are the 100 subs really the hardest

I think it's hardest cause you're totally new to this platform & anything you do for the first time is difficult.Nobody even knows you,you have to build an audience,a community which takes time.Again success is something that is not equal for everyone, some might get success around 2-3 days & for some it may 2-3 months. So always try to do what you're passionate about if you do what you're passionate about you never give up so early :)

No, I easily got to 100 subs within my first month, and then to 535 a month later. However, I dropped all the down to 485. And have been stuck here for a year or so. So I think it's just hard to grow in general. It's really hard.

Want to know if that is the experience most people had, and does it get easier right after. I asking cause i read an article saaying this.

hmmmmmmmm I don't think so, the real barrier is exposure in and out of itself. Next real time to get a good channel above all the surge of videos that youtube gets everyday.

I have 634 subscribers and it's still really hard for me to gain more. Not that I really care much about it. But still, you can't help but notice.

If you have no initial contacts (other youtubers/larger social media presence) it can be an absolute drag. Took us a few months to hit 100. Then a few more months later we hit over 3k (due to networking)

Hey,

I am a new youtuber and i am currently sitting on 25 subs. I realise the importance of networking and i am trying to get the JSG name out there any tips?

I have seen some growth recently and the new YouTube end screens have helped generate quite a lot of watch time I currently have 62 subs I am hoping to reach 100 before the end of the year and my channel is 8 months old.

I'm seeing a lot of Yes and No's. I heard through the grapevine that the first 100 was the hardest because AFTER you start getting the hang of uploads and better content at that point. As far as being more exposed, I hope that's the case because I'm so close to 100 subs and I'm working extremely hard :D!

It's relative to your preparation level. If you do your research, learn to promote properly, and understand the gist of making captivating videos, 100 subscribers will be a piece of cake. The most difficult part of YouTube is learning how to continuously grow. How can you go from 1 sub a day to 2 subs a day? 100 subs a day to 200 subs? Heck, 10,000 subs a day to 20,000? Again, it's all relative to your own expectations and growth potential. Getting tied into a constant number such as 100 subs is best saved for a starting milestone.
