YouTube gun stunt gone wrong leaves boyfriend dead

Congratulations, you just made those kids fatherless, that and you really think a .50 AE would be stopped by a mere book? Do you know how much damage that sort of caliber can do to the body? (See watch?v=IiJLZZdDStI and watch?v=auwSvHKz9h4 for examples)

No sympathy for the woman here.

i follow a lot of firearms channels on youtube, just because i enjoy shooting and i'm sure this is going to reek havoc on that niche of channels.

what sucks is that the majority of them are very safety conscious and responsible firearms owners. to do something this stupid for views is absolute insanity.

A pregnant lady shoots her boyfriend and kills him during a stunt. Now she is looking at manslaughter charges.

I do feel bad for the unborn child, being born to two really stupid parents is a bad start.

What does everyone else think?
I had no words... Shocked stupid accident...

Sorry to hear about this... I have thought about trying pranks and crazy videos but to me, it doesn't worth the risk of losing my life... I'm sure that they were driven to such an experiment due to how difficult it is to become popular on Youtube. With that being said, one must indeed weigh the value of what they are doing by what it costs to make a video. In this case, it was a terribly sad outcome. Just goes to show that not just because one can do something, means that it should be done.

I'm confused as to what this stunt was supposed to be. From what I gather from the comments here, she was shooting at his book or something? I'm very confused. Did they think the bullet would get stuck in the book or something? Did they take the term 'hardcover' extremely seriously?

What an awfully sad story . It is insane even the aunt of the boy told him do not do it it is not like people were okay with this. And that poor child sure but how about the 19 year old sitting in jail pregnant after killing the love of her life . Too sad for words.
