Lol, seriously though..I get what you mean but....I feel like......Youtube has become a source of entertainment, sometimes on par with Television (minus the commercials)..so yeah..some of Youtube is bound to be fake.

Well I mean, does anything ever stay real? Anything? People can become fake in MARRIAGES. Church organizations start well meaning and then get fake. It's just like... this isn't a youtube problem, this is a people problem.

True. But your statement was quite correct...and I hadn't thought of that when I posted my post. I think it's just part of human nature to be somewhat 'fake' at times. It's how we 'impress' people....in job interviews, on first dates, meeting new people etc. I'm not talking about all out fake, not being yourself and telling lies though

I don't even know if it's so much to impress or put on a facade, I think things get fake without us realizing it. I think as more opportunities arise and the potential to make money/success becomes greater and more people get involved in something, the honesty and intimate integrity of doing something small for fun or whatnot gets overshadowed by the desire to succeed or see more growth or stand out in the undertaking. We started out just wanting to be a bible study group but now we're raising money for that new sound system so we can praise God better and some of the oldest members are going "man... that place has changed..."

You know that YouTuber no one seems to like Onision? One of the few valid things I've heard him say was about YouTube fakeness in collabs and the like.

You mean the guy who collabed with Shane Dawson, iShatOnU, Laci Green, Olga Kay, swiftkaratechop, Cyr1216 + did box4box with them to inflate his subscriber count?
