I saw this video from one of my favorite YouTubers that hit on a lot of god points regarding a lot of these YouTube 'friendships' and the fakeness of them. It goes on to confirm my suspicions on how much of a business YouTube is turning into, and how the amount genuine people are lessening day-by-day.

To be fair, Tyler is friends with 4 out of 6 people in that picture of thumbnails, but I do find it funny how this year is the year for major collabing with the big guys to both boost each other to the top.

P.S Qaadir is amazing.

Yeah. I don't like that. It's no longer about fun, or creating, or getting together because you both have something in common. It's about what others can do to get you ahead and make you more money. It's poop and I wish it weren't that way.
 
I think there is no problem with competitivity, but when it's pure hate. That's to far. I do take youtube both ways, I am trying to get better, but I'm not going to get better at someones expense.
 
You know that YouTuber no one seems to like Onision? One of the few valid things I've heard him say was about YouTube fakeness in collabs and the like.

The guy in the video is absolutely delightful hahahaha I just love his style/vibe hahaha
