YouTube Algorithm Update?

the first point does need to be addressed I think, fair enough boost livestreamers your subbed to so you don't miss em, but not channels you don't care about, especially the ones streaming shows.

second point sounds fair, but how could they possibly put this into action. It's impossible to know what is a reaction of what. And if its just aware when the term reaction is used, then reaction channels will simply not put that in their title.

so yeah seems a bit fake to me

I checked the video. It is not so much "reaction" channels but rather "funny compilations" and other similar "compilation" channels that will be targeted (everything that re-uses heavily footage from other channels). This things really take 0 effort to make yet they tend to be mega - viral. Fair enough for me.

I was wondering why I was getting abnormally high views lately... I guess things are currently frozen in my favor, but things are probably going to change. I wonder what kind of content the new algorithm will prefer? o.0 Hopefully more content types besides gaming will start to appear towards the top of YouTube's ranking system. Gaming channels have dominated YouTube for several years now. :o

This sounds like it could be good. As far as view changes, is this talking about just this month? Because other than a dip in July (most likely from high-traffic videos being taken down/deleted and thumbnail experiments during that time), my daily view chart has remained at the same level since at least the first of this year.

Riddikore, thanks for this great updates!
Many people misused "Live streaming" to gain higher rank, I believe this is the main reason why it's been updated.
