This is my set-up.

the pc is nothing special but it gets the job done

Graphics card: Nvidia Geforece 520
Ram: 12Gb
Processor: 3.4Ghz
Monitor 1: HP2311x
Monitor 2: not sure, got it at a garage sale like 2 dyas ago

Recording equipment

Consoles recording: HDPVR2
PC recording: FRAPS or HDPVR2 (depends what I am recording)
Mic: Blue Snowball

Editing Software

Videos: Sony Vegas 13
Pictures: Paint.net
Audio: Audacity

The DVD recorder is for the retro consoles. The HDPVR2 does not act very friendly towards video input from NES, SNES, Dreamcast, Genesis, etc...
the DVD recorder takes in the video from the consoles and the outputs it to the HDPVR (it normalizes the video signal so the capture card wont freak out when it sees game play from an old console).

as for the consoles most of them are distinguishable but the ones that might not be so clear are:
Xbox360 (blue thing)
PS2 (silver thing)
SegaCD (the thing connected to the Genesis)
Gameboy Player (black thing under the GameCube)

and yeah, I know, I gotta manage the cables better, but lets see how much you can manage with a jungle like that under your desk...

i know right? and in my opinion they`re the best looking headphones ever

They definitely look much better than having some of these other gaming-specific headsets that are so big they're almost cartoon-like. And the fact that I have a big head means those only accentuate it anyway.
