You upload a video, it has one small editing error....

Do you upload it again after fixing the error? Let it go? Comment about it in the comment section? Leave it as is and ignore the error?

I just uploaded a "picking a martial arts" video, it took me 3 hours to edit this 12 min video (which started as 27 min) and I missed one title timing. Eg; In numbering off some stuff numbers 7 and 8 typed together when I started talking about #7 instead of 8 coming out at the right time. It's a 5 second mistake but it's driving me nanners.

Yeah you guessed what I am doing, re-rendering and uploading a new video all over again, do you think that is wise?

The only time I have ever reuploaded a video is because I forgot to change the volume settings on the music I was using and you could barely hear me talking. Otherwise, I try not to let those little mistakes get to me. If I find a mistake, like with a number, I'll just add an annotation.

For starters....YES I think this is the way to go. I would also hate it if I made an error in editing and it bugged me like hell. Done it before and I'll do it again. The point is, once YOU know it's there it becomes annoying. Even if nobody else sees it or complaints about it. It's still there!

I would not leave it like it is and put something in the comments. I do not assume everybody reads these anyway.

By the way. This is you editing program saying you have to check your work before rendering ;)

If I find a flaw, I would re edit and rerender and all the sort as long as the video is not published. I've done this a few times. :s Why leave it be if you still have a chance to make it the best you can?

If I only saw the mistake AFTER publishing the video to the public, then I'd add an annotation or comment about it or even just hint that there's a mistake. I won't redo it. Because, I don't think subscribers would watch the same video again if the same video got uploaded another time.

Call me lazy but if I see a tiny mistake in my video after publishing it, I just add an annotation. If I catch it before uploading, it would depend on how serious it is.
However, I am perfect in every single way so never have I ever made a single mistake in all of my years of existence.

I'll do it pretty much all the time, unless it's super forgivable and I don't catch it within a few hours of uploading it. I want people to see how I envision the media I create, so sometimes that means doing extra work if I mess up!

When did this happen? If the video is really new, reuploading is the better option. For the older ones, I agree with the previous comments. Annotations are a good way, although they won't be seen on mobile devices.

the only time I have re uploaded was when the whole video had severe lag and was completely blurry. I got it better, but the quality is still quite naff on the video. Good job it was a little 20 second video and not a full length parody. since then I NEVER upload the original .MOV file, because my computer can't even play them to check they look ok, and its like 150GB + for a small 3 min clip... that's just silly.
From then on I use MPEGStreamclip to change the .mov to a very managable MP4 with hardly any visual difference at all :)

If i saw a tiny flaw like a spelling error I wouldn't re-upload. that first vid I talked about glitched on my channel when i reuploaded it, it didn't show to subscribers, and the thumbnail didn't load for like 2 weeks. - never again.

Those first minutes of upload are so crucial to me, I dont want to loose any of those potential comments or shares
