What editing software do you use?

Back when I started on YouTube I used to edit with the Windows XP movie maker.
Than I got Sony Vegas and started using that until my computer's harddrive was getting too full to render.
Since I got my college laptop and software I edit my videos with Adobe Premiere Pro.

I use Sony Vegas for editing my videos,it gets the job done quick and easy, just got to learn the basics of it, but shouldn't take a lot of time to learn. You may want to say up money for a good editing software but until then Movie Maker is a good solution for you!
Obviously, when you first start out on YouTube, you don't want to be going out there and spending £100's on editing software, first of all you don't know how to use it, and second of all you don't know whether it's worth you buying it, as nothing may come of your YouTube account.

However, I was wondering, are there any editing software out there which are affordable, but also are worth putting that money into!?

What software do you use to edit your videos?

P.S. I currently use Movie Maker (I know it's not glamorous, but it gets the job done)

Thanks

The software I used to use was also Windows Movie Maker. It still remains as my staple.

There was a software called Power director cyberlink that came bundled on my computer. Then I got rid of it because it was considered a bit "clunky". It's not as intuitive as Movie Maker.

Microsoft had revamped itself very recently. They will make windows 10 free. That movie Maker will be updated someday.

I use Corel Videostudios Pro x6 currently. It's quite easy to use and has a lot of features. It's reliable as well and I think it cost me less than 100 dollars.

I just found a nice awesome piece of software called VSDC video editor. It's free and offers 1080 quality export including contrast, blur, pixelation, and support for most file formats.

Just be careful with the installation.

For the first 2 and a half years of doing youtube videos I used windows movie maker, I really like it's simplicity. Now I use Sony Vegas, as I can do more stuff with it

Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 HD is the one I use. It's one helpful piece of editing software for my review videos, I got my copy for like £40 :)

I'm using Cyberlink Powerdirector 13 Ultra. I got it off Amazon for roughly $50, and it gets the job done for me, although to be honest, I'm not doing any complex video editing.
