Vlogging

Personally I don't vlog in my videos per se as, but the entertainment value definitely drops if you're just watching people reading lines. Having said that, I do have planned what I want covered. Such as the intro, outro, jokes and occasionally visual gags. With a general idea I just kept that in mind and go wild. Some of the best takes are all impromptu.
 
I don't write a script, but I make notes and then expand on them off the fly while recording. I think this is best because the one time I didn't make any notes, I forgot to say something really important. Then I had to put on my make-up again, wear the same clothes, and do my hair the same, just so that I could add the 2 lines that I forgot to put in the original recording, lol.
