Viewcount bug or real?

Is this a common bug? Is there any chance this is real? How would you explain it if it was real? lol

Adsense shows no change in page views today.
 
The response that is directly above me actually made me cry while laughing, but yeah the first response nows what they are taking about.
 
Yeah wait 2 days. I got excited because my last video was over shooting to 1500, once it caught up it was 500. You definitely got a lot of views but when you tube verifies it, it'll be less.
 
Yep, 100% that looks real to me. It's probably not someone big that shared it. That's exactly what real time anaylitcs looks like when the YouTube algorithm picks up a video and puts your video into some big videos suggested feeds. Most people assume growth sort of steadily builds but it doesn't. It always takes big jumps. One of three things will most likely happen. It will either drop off back to normal, this could be your new normal for that video, or tomorrow you could wake up and its getting like 8K views an hour and you've got a video that will probably end up with 10-20 million views. Good luck! Hope it takes off even more for you.

It's back to normal after just 20 hours. Maybe a tweet?

As XXLRay said, only Analytics will show what theory is right. :D

This is what happens to my vidoes. It will start super slow and out of nowhere some will suddenly jump in views like yours. Then it stay there for a bit, some will drop go back down, some will stay there, and some will go even higher. Like youtuber1978 said, good luck to your channel and may that video goes even higher in views soon!! :)

I do have some that got dropped within a couple of hours, guess YouTube was trying to promote and it wasn't working out. However sometimes YouTube will try again! I had a video that was promoted and it was getting lots of views , the out of no where it got dropped from suggested views, and it went down to almost no view . However, three weeks later YouTube started to promote it again and it jumped up in views. So you never know!! Good luck!!!
