Unsubscribers

They are trying to sub 4 sub without asking for it. A lot of people sub to you, hoping that you sub back, when you don't, they unsub. But they don't realize how pointless it is. What's the point of having 1000 subs with only 3000 total views? I've seen channels like that, they get under 100 views a day. They are on the same level as channels with <100 subs. On the other hand, I've seen channels with 500 subs and 100,000+ views averaging 2-3k views a day. Do these people really think that the size of their channel depends on the sub counter? I think a channel that gets 2-3k views a day is way bigger than a channel that gets 100 views a day, regardless of sub count.
 
I think it's what I like to call the "instagram effect" or "twitter effect" someone will like sub you and normally you won't get a message saying they unfollowed so some people "sub 4 sub" and you do it back without realizing they did it to tease you into the sub
