Underrated?!

To be fair I'd be happy with 4555 views! Why not try to promote you videos more?
 
I often see YouTubers with more views/subs than me that I think are worse than me but of course the quality of that channel is completely subjective. I'm sure many would think that my channel is rubbish compared to theirs. Also how long that person has been making videos, promotion and better SEO all affect the numbers. Sometimes I see YouTubers my size or smaller that I think are better than me.
 
I understand how sad it is for everyone but I think you guys all need to take it as a reason to push great content and nothing else to become as great as the more fortunate people and beyond :)
 
Well, this is part of Survivorship Bias in which we only see the people who have "made it" and the people who are popular. But we totally disregard the vast amount of people who aren't popular. We just don't see the people who aren't successful but have good quality videos. Then we of course compare ourselves and our content to the successful people's content and think why? Part of it is skill and hard effort but a fraction is coincidence and "luck". Not to advertise but I have a video focused on this specific topic too, called Get Rational - Survivorship Bias and I feel it would answer some questions.
