Swearing?

I think swearing is something that should be used carefully. I couldn't care less about it, but if your target audience is younger people (not saying yours is just saying for an example) then they might care or their parents might care or whatever. I think too much swearing makes it look as if you're trying too hard to swear imo.

Just whatever sounds natural. Whatever comes to you, just don't overdo it and drop f-bombs every third word.

Personally I don't like swearing, I won't watch videos with it (I also have a couple kids in the house though but that's not the only reason), but to each their own. Since I do this as a business too (albeit a fun one that doesn't seem like it!), I'd be concerned about two things with swearing from a business perspective 1) it's like smoking, lots of people don't like it so your market is narrowed 2) for the most part it's not advertiser friendly, or it narrows down the number of advertisers who would run ads on the content.

It doesn't bother me either, but I would say that if you do swear to be funny and to put comedy in the video, make sure it doesn't seem scripted. I think the best way to go about it, is trying not to swear and if it happens then it will be funny and the right moment!

I don't care for swearing as long as it's not every other word and is just painful to listen to. Even with this, cursing does happen with me, mostly in moments of frustration on or off camera.

Depends on your target audience and what kind of image you want to portray. Honestly, I swear in my videos for the sake of comedy. But, as I said, its all about your image. Do you want to be seen as a guy you shouts obscenities or doesn't?

be 100% of yourself and if that means cursing alot then go for it. you cant please everyone its impossible. if your 100% yourself then the peeps that sub will love whatever you put out for them because its you and not fake

I personally don't care, though I am trying to clean my potty mouth because I'm getting a little annoyed with myself haha. But if you curse, then that's your business and ya like it!

For a comedy channel I think swearing as fine as long as it's not too overboard. You might offend a few people but those are probably not the people you want watching your videos in the first place.

Swearing doesn't necessarily make it more funny, IMHO. Too many people use it as a crutch because the underlying content wasn't that funny.
