Swearing in Videos Bad?

If I wanted to take that route i'd just be the "all god's children are idiots, where's my check?" like TheAmazingAthiest does. But I don't. You can quote me on this and put it on every wall of your house. "If I want money i'll get a job, I do what I do because I love doing it and sharing it and if others love it i'm grateful that they do". That's all it is to me, setting out to become a star on YouTube is about as frivolous as becoming the next Metallica or Ozzy. Just do what you do, enjoy it. If people like it "I love you forever thanks for watching" and if you don't "have a nice day, no bad feelings" but this guy made it personal. I'll leave it at that.

That's why I mentioned I was a christiain in the first place and I really want you to take this deep into heart man. I underSTAND that point of view, my people ARE the people who get offended by cursing and such and I'm telling you, the ones who will be offended by you would be offended by family guy and half the things on television, you're not... you're not over doing it ok? Some people are, I notice when they do, you're not, I promise.
 
I don't mind swearing in videos - in fact, I think it adds an extra element as it shows passion and I find it quite frustrating when someone checks what they are saying and use a placeholder word instead of a swear word.

Obviously it might put some people off and the advice would be not to swear but if you're doing commentary or vlogging surely you're trying to capture your thoughts at that very moment.
 
It's fine to swear once in a while especially when it comes to playing a video game. However it's only bad if you swear too much because some people will think you are "immature." Just to make it clear I am not against swearing and yes admittedly I do swear in some of my videos plus I don't mind hearing other people swear, but that's just me.
