Get the PC if you need a PC. Don't get it for the channelI have a build saved on this really awesome site but, I would be paying $400 total for all the stuff. Now I love gaming so it works all the same and it's cheaper then some of the new consoles out there but, with me being in college, I need an expense like I need a hole in the head so to speak...Do you think I should do it? I mean if my channel got bigger and it paid out, I would love my live but, if it flops then I'm gonna be hurting a bit for cash for a while.
I am changing headsets soon enough. Trust me I am very aware of that![]()

Exactly. I bought my PC when I just wanted to game, and now my PC is paying for itself since I am making quite a bit of cash for my series on MachinimaIf you're going to be hurting for cash then don't do it, I highly doubt your channel would take off quick enough to make it worth it, made do with what you have, believe me I have a really bad computer that makes it hard as hell to record half the time and I end up with a lot of dead footage because of it but I get by![]()
Lightning is the worse for me, im still trying to get that all figured out. Im relying my lighting on 5000k daylight bulbs. This is a good reminder post!
Keep it as cheap as possible. For Vlogs, have a good enough camera and lighting to get the job done. For gamers, have good enough equipment to show a clean, clear, presentation and a microphone that records good enough.
