So MANY NETWORKS

So I truly believe its getting to a point where there are too many networks out there. There are people out there hacking others and causing a TON of drama in this community. I truly dislike it. I wish networks that have many sub networks under them such as CN, Forela, Zoomin, etc would start to solve this problem. All of the networks part of the Forela/CN/Zoomin family seem to have a lot of drama with them. This is truly sad in my option. I believe these networks need to clean up the drama.

What do you guys think?

YouTube is a cash crop and everyone wants in. Kind of the end of the "gold rush" though. I know of some larger networks that are coming down hard on their scouting divisions because they're not meeting quota.

Investors are getting angry, hehe.

Considering you've owned atleast 5 I think this topic is pretty silly :D

The one who never replies to Skype but replies to YTTalk!! :P No but I'm just talking about how there are so many immature people in networking now. And MCNs like yours just accept these people. I have created a few networks because I feel like I had what it took to bring something new and fresh to the market. I quit for the same reason. I felt like I wasn't contributing enough anymore. When I feel like I have something to improve on I will start again. That is my thought process.

I'm just saying there is a lot of immature people in this business. And MCNs such as yours Shane should work on making sure that you don't have any bad sub networks.

We have taken on an average of 3.1 VNs a month since we started.. don't compare us to the MCNs that take on 2-3 network a week..

I'm just saying, there are a lot of CAs that are under a VN with CN that are very immature that I know. So I'm glad to hear that stat but I know for sure there is still work to be done.

Honestly it doesn't matter. The bad networks will fail and the good networks will keep rising. That is what happens in any business. If you can't operate your business to the same degree as your competition, you will get destroyed. When you join a network, make sure you are joining one that is professional and is stable.

@Baseline Yes I completely agree with you.
If you think of networks as a tree over 100 of them are 13 year old kid wannabe's trying to make a network at the very bottom of the trunk. These 100 or so people shouldn't even really account towards the amount of networks you see everyday now. Most of the networks that you come across aren't competition to the big MCNs and big VNs they are just random people. Thats my opinion. Yes their are SOOOOOO many networks, but the amount of those networks worth looking into is 1/4 of that amount.
