So....anyone else seeing a massive drop in views?

I only got a 20% view drop. But i feel like the summer is when everyone is watching videos the most. Which I thought it would be the winter but guess not

My best advice lately is to focus on coming up with really good ideas for videos. Preferably things that haven't been done much before, but if you see an idea you like and think you can tweak it and do it better, that's a recipe for success.

You're talking about how many views he was getting per day? Like he went from getting 10k/day to 800 /day and then back up to 10k/day? That would be encouraging. Lol

No, I mean overall channel views. Like it would say the overall channel views were 10K for a while, and then suddenly dropped to like 800-something. And it mad no sense because like, those 10K people already saw the channel, you kinda can't turn around and change that or deny it. Then a few days later the page showed back to 10K channel views. It was odd.
 
My views have held fairly constant since the 17th, but I'm also a small channel.. They went from 1951 on the 17th down to 1759 views the 18th, but it has been fluctuating by around 300 views over the last month... That's a massive drop that you had - I hope it goes back to normal soon! =S

Thanks! Me too, but then again I've had a good run with this channel, basically because of one or two silly videos I made. I was very fortunate to have those videos get as many views as they did for as long as they did, so I'm okay with it if they tank now. For awhile I was getting 150k views/day on this channel from 3 videos. It was like that for the better part of a year. I've been looking for an excuse to turn this channel more 'legitimate' anyway (like a optics equipment review channel or something similar) as I feel the sub count is being wasted with the content currently here (a hodgepodge of nonsense really). We'll see what happens. I'll give it a couple months to rebound before deciding.
