So....anyone else seeing a massive drop in views?

My views are quite down lately, but they have recovered since :) Remember to not pay too much attention on your analytics, as you might concentarte too mcuh on numbers
 
Mine are roughly the same 1k a day, if that, I suppose an algorithm change would affect larger channels as a higher percentage of your videos were probably being suggested previously?
 
My views have dropped the last couple of days but I was expecting that to happen for other reasons. I'll expect a rise tonight when I upload my new video so if they're still low over the weekend I'll be investigating further.

you said something about being removed from suggested videos? how do you find that out? I assume analytics are too lagging for that

Well, I compared the latest traffic source analytics I could look at (from a couple days ago) and looked at the suggested videos sources. I then visited the actual source videos one by one and saw that my videos were nowhere to be found on any of those videos that had been providing them most of their views.
 
It's not that massive for me as my channel is still rather small, but I did go from getting 20+ (sometimes over 100) on my videos to 9 and now down to 5 on my two latest ones.

I pay bills with this money lol. Hard not to notice when adsense shows you 1/10th of the revenue that you are normally earning, especially when it happens overnight. I have no special connection to my channels. I started most of them purely as a means of supplementing my income. When things with my business got slow around Christmas I was happy to have this revenue. This is a killer though. It will come back eventually, it always does.
