Slacking

90% of my views come from people searching & finding my videos / related videos. My subscribers only bring in about 10,000 views per month, so uploading randomly doesn't have that much of an impact. In fact, holding off of videos (for MY channel) isn't beneficial.

I upload guides & time sensitive information, so getting my videos out ASAP is very important.

i know this might sound a bit dull or you know ilke common sense but plan ahead. i have already planned ahead what im gonna do till the 27th of january

i upload every day a video

every day i upload shadow of mordor untill assassins creed comes out
then its
day1: shadow of mordor
day2: assasins creed
day 3:shadow of mordor etc.. etc...

that will be the routine for an entire week because farcry 4 & dragon ages comes out on the 18th of november

so then it will be
day 1: shadow of mordor
day 2: assasins creed
day3: farcry 4
day4:dragon age

then in december the crew comes out and by that time i should have already finnished shadow of mordor so the crew picks up right where shadow of mordor left

day1: assasinscreed
day2: farcry4
day3: dragon age
day4: the crew (( which is ONLINE multiplayer so you can make as many episoded on it you want aslong you keep it spicey))

i am buying the crew just incase i do not meet any other games that i like in time before gta 5 releases in january27th that way i can keep making vids even if they arent story line based they are online races
which is very inpredictable.

that was a piece of my mind:p

PS sorry for my horrible english!!!

I uploaded my last video 6 months ago! It was all going well, I have quite a lot of views considering I have only 4 videos up and then I just stopped. I was working as an au pair in U.S. and the kid had summer vacation so I worked all days and had literally no time to record. Then I moved back to Poland and faced the existential crisis (omg why does everything has come to the and and s**t like that) and I had to buy this thing for my softboxes that i bought in the US because we have much higher voltage in Poland and without it I would kill the lamps and probably myself and that took me a while. I feel so stupid for letting this happen but oh well, i will start again soon. It is hard to stick to the schedule.

This is so off topic, but a few weeks ago I met this girl who said she was an au pair - I had NO CLUE what the hell an au pair was so I googled it...Since then I've met like four au pairs. It's so random, but I don't know why I had never heard the term/met an au pair before a few weeks ago and now I've met (or read something from one) 5.

Anyways, get back on schedule! I stopped uploading for a bit and once I started again my channel grew even faster.

I think the worst thing we can do is try to go straight to making a video every single day. I did that for a while out of the blue, and found that I ran out of ideas extremely fast. Before I knew it, the 1 video per day became one video per week. I simply could not think of enough ideas. The best thing to do is keep an audience waiting, but not for too long. An audience is more likely to get bored quickly if videos are being put out every day. People like surprises, they generally like the idea of looking forward to something and maybe even counting down. I found the best way to produce videos is maybe 2 or 3 videos a week - this gives people a break from your channel - letting them spend time viewing other people's channels too, and mixing things up rather than letting them get bored of the same style, same YouTube and same voice (if you do commentary) etc...

It's not the case for all people - some people love watching the same YouTuber every day, but for me personally I'd think it would be a little too much to watch one person every single day :)

Hope this helps!
