Slacking

Life is life... I'd love to dedicate all to YouTube, but I can't. The job is what pays the bills, so I have to prioritize. Don't feel bad. If youtube was your primary source of income you'd be spitting videos out left and right for sure. Just make sure you let your viewer-base know what is going on in your life, so they know not to expect videos out of you multiple times a week. I just vlogged about that very subject, and am putting it up this Monday if everything works out.

Life can get pretty hectic, and you have to prioritize that over the youtube universe i'd say:)
 
There is one thing i learned from my research is and that is when you record . record in batches record like 5 videos on that day. ok so you upload once a week that means you have 5 weeks the time after that to come up with new awesome ideas. Me my self i upload every day but every time i record i try to record 3 episodes so i don't have a dead line ever. but that is just what i'd do
 
Normally I will take a whole day and record and edit as much videos I can (of course with good content) and then I schedule when will the video be publish. And after that is done, I can have my own time to do whatever.

Uploaded 6 videos yesterday.

I'm under pressure to get a bunch of videos out before Thursday. A new release of content for World of Warcraft comes out on thursday, so I need to get all my general video ideas created & uploaded (and vids about other games) because after Thursday I'll be busy with that release of content for a few weeks.

That sounds stressful, hope you get all the work done on time!
 
I say I'll make a video on a Monday & a Thursday, each of my subscribers knows this so I know that I can't let them down, thats what keeps me motivated to get a wriggle on :')
If ideas are not your strong suit, keep a diary full of ideas you've had over the week, it means you already know what you're filming & the whole process will go faster :)

i know this might sound a bit dull or you know ilke common sense but plan ahead. i have already planned ahead what im gonna do till the 27th of january

i upload every day a video

every day i upload shadow of mordor untill assassins creed comes out
then its
day1: shadow of mordor
day2: assasins creed
day 3:shadow of mordor etc.. etc...

that will be the routine for an entire week because farcry 4 & dragon ages comes out on the 18th of november

so then it will be
day 1: shadow of mordor
day 2: assasins creed
day3: farcry 4
day4:dragon age

then in december the crew comes out and by that time i should have already finnished shadow of mordor so the crew picks up right where shadow of mordor left

day1: assasinscreed
day2: farcry4
day3: dragon age
day4: the crew (( which is ONLINE multiplayer so you can make as many episoded on it you want aslong you keep it spicey))

i am buying the crew just incase i do not meet any other games that i like in time before gta 5 releases in january27th that way i can keep making vids even if they arent story line based they are online races
which is very inpredictable.

that was a piece of my mind:P

I feel you! Because of school I haven't uploaded that much lately on my gaming channel and I feel horrible about it! I just want to make some videos, but I also remember that YouTube is "just" a hobby and school and stuff is more important than that.
