If we could, I'm sure we all would. The forum would be so full of promotional spam it wouldn't do anyone any good. There is an appropriate place to promote, and I think it's nice you have to earn the ability to promote there, as it prevents that area from being annoying and spammy too. You appreciate things better when you have to earn them.

However like SimplyRodney said, if we allowed promotion everywhere on the forum then it would be full of spam, and not be a useful, friendly, and tight nit community like it is right now.

because it would just make this forum become chaoic if you don't believe me look at the YouTube Creator Academy forums in a way you can promote VIP video sigs like mine below or in the correct sections on here but ya also if we were able to promote i'd be using this a lot

They just recently changed the layout of the site, and it's really easy to see people's most recently promoted videos, right there on the front page

You have to be VIP to promote your channel. And its very legit.

I really like what they did with the site! Now they have more tips being circulated due to the ARTICLES tab, more promotion happening, it's great!
