He doesn't deserve it, especially with the (mostly) moronic and childish fanbase who ravage naysayers who say anything bad about him.

Personally, he isn't funny at all to me nor are some of the jokes he makes, on top of stupid crap like fetishizing the barrel. His overreactions are predictable and not funny, I mean for god's sake I am doing Amnesia LP and I have not once screamed loudly like he has.

I think the top position of YouTube should be represented by a channel that does more than scream at video games and act like a little kid. Smosh is also juvenile, but at least they had professional looking content.

I agree with you, I sometimes wonder how much it takes smosh to produce a single video andto write the script , playing games and saying random stuff is much more simple.
