People turning off almost exactly half way through

Hey guys, hope you're all good!

I was looking at my stats for my video and it seems that both UK and USA average watch duration is almost exactly half for both.

I have reviewed it but am still not overly sure what it is I was doing wrong at that point..

Does anyone else get this issue or have had this issue and solved it?

That is how it usually is with most videos, unless they are shorter, its kinda a sad fact.

That just means people get restless and want to move on at those points. Try making your vids more concise and get them to that time frame

Well there you go! Either take that realization and be more aware of how you're acting when making a new vid, or reduce the length

I believe so. But after a certain amount of views youtube will begin to verify if the views are "real" or not. Probably by just looking at the IP

It's that's the case I would have affected the average view time rather severely!

Ahhh thats a good point. If you went to watch and you only stayed for a minute or so it would make a difference
