Outros...do they make a difference

Never used an outro before on my vids...considering using one. Do they make any difference? What has your experience been?

You can have annotations so they can subscribe and go to other videos of yours, which is great because it increases viewer retention.

They've helped a great deal for me. I usually get a 10% click through rate (so 1000 views = 100 clicks to another video).

As for the Subscribe button in my outros, they've helped a little as well. Every subscriber counts.

I generally only used it to mark the end of my videos but sometimes I will put other videos that can be viewed. With my GTA IV playthrough I'm skipping this though, just having the outro as I'm not sure if people watch to the end of my videos in the first place.

At the very least you should consider a standard outro, one that can be reused at the end of every video. It reenforces you as a brand, and reminds viewers that you have a whole channel of content. Perhaps it contains an annotated "subscribe" button, or links to your best/most popular video or your channel trailer.

Once you have a standard outro on file, it will really take minimal effort to tack it onto future videos. Totally worth it.

I'am trying to get one made as well, but everyone I have tried to get to make me one has never came through or has not been interested in helping.
