New layout = Less views?

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this happen but I changed my layout over to the new Youtube One or whatever it's called shortly after uploading my latest video. My marketing's identical to what I've done for my previous videos and they started getting around 60 views in the first day. I've noticed since I changed my layout that within the first 24hrs I'd received 3 views.

Now, I might just be out of luck with that one video in particular but it seems odd to me that all previous videos were starting to skyrocket initially and this one's essentially returned to what it was like when I'd started uploading (And didn't even advertise/market). Has anyone else noticed something similar?

My views stayed about the same, if not increase a little. But my channel views dropped to pretty much nothing (I wasn't getting many to begin with, so this isn't that big of a deal for me)

My views are decreased dramaticly after I switched to the new layout.
Makes me wonder if it's because they're combining everything for a singular view if it's messed up their own search mechanics. I guess we'll just have to bide our time until they start forcing the new layout upon people and update their search algorithms.

Took a quick swing by your channel to take a look at your subscribers and average video views and yeah, you seem to be sitting around the same levels as what you had before the new layout. That being said; Your views can also be driven by your higher subscriber count too. 1/4 People would be watching your vlogs each upload to get them where they are (And it sounds like a pretty fair ratio considering you run a few different genres on your channel).

It just struck me as strange as I don't have many subscribers and am trying to get off the ground. Then suddenly as the videos started getting 60-100 views within 24hrs and a steady but slow climb after that, I swapped over to the new layout (Ready to embrace something new) and it shot me right back to 13 views in 24hrs. Made me think something's gotta be happening.

No I haven't noticed my video view cont dropping . But I find this layout better cause you don't have to refresh the page when you click a new link.

We've been on the new layout for nearly 6 weeks. Our views have gone from about 50k per day to around 70k per day with a few days passing the 100k mark-but our sub level has also increased by 20k since we switched over, so that accounts for our increase in views more than anything else.

I took a look at your channel and where views are coming from. It looks like you got a decent percentage of views from Reddit. If you promoted a specific video, then numbers probably didn't change much, but if you promoted your channel, you don't have anything set to auto-play, so that could account for the drop in views.
