Networks better than adsense?

The comparison is not valid from one channel to the next, only for a channel itself. CPM is influenced by but not entirely determined by the network.
Actually, from my statistical analysis, CPM is determined by the type of ads a video attracts, which is in turn influenced by the type of content / meta data.

Thus why the comparison between separate channels across the Adsense Network boundary is invalid. Your statistical analysis is a little short of the mark though.

When creating an advertisement inside Adwords, the advertiser can elect to target viewers based on a number of different criteria. They can choose viewers who usually view certain types of content, viewers who are in general currently watching certain types of content, viewers of specific demographics regardless of content, viewers searching specific keywords, viewers searching for a more general type of content but not yet watching, etc. Never forget that the viewer is the product here and the channel just the vehicle. Some of the value to the advertiser exists in how well the channel maintains it's audience like for example how willing viewers are to watch that full unskippable ad because they really want to see the video after it, or how long that display ad shows on the sidebar due to the video retention being high, etc. But there is just as much value in YouTube targeting the viewer him/herself regardless of what channel they happen to be on. It's amusing for example how much more likely people under 18 are to get Axe Body Spray ads. It's also amusing how just by viewing the occasional non-english channel when I used to do recruitment that YouTube would start to throw french ads at me.

The network side defaults to Adsense but can be over-ridden should better paying ads be sold across the network. All of the MCN's either are ad agencies or have contracts with ad agencies. And I'm not yet certain but I suspect that the network can even prioritize individual channels for those ads to ensure the ad inventory goes in certain directions.

It is worth considering that YouTube as a business wants to make the most money possible. Since they get 45% of everything anyways through Adwords/Adsense, there is no incentive for them to even allow the networks onto the scene unless there is more money to be made via the additional ad sales. Business is business.

WELL MY MAIN CHANNEL IS ONLY HITTING 3.19ON THE AD PERFORMANCE PAGE WHICH EQUALS TO BUGGER ALL BUT MY SECONDARY CHANNEL WHICH IS ON ADNENSE IS HITTING 4.30

That doesn't mean it is the network's fault. Unless they have identical content and audience.

I have this suspicion as well. With the F S G0rilla campaigns, FS can control the rate/frequency that pre-roll campaigns are presented so that the advertiser's budget isn't consumed so quickly. If they have that kind of control, then I suspect that they can control it on a channel-by-channel basis as well.

identical content
link it? you must have a lesser watch rate, more of a male audience or more viewers outside of northern Europe/America.[DOUBLEPOST=1382722699,1382722632][/DOUBLEPOST]

Indeed, its not as simple as doing it on a channel by channel basis. but MCNs can restrict by viewership, audience stats, main viewership location and genre.

nope identical content but without a description or keywords. backup channel

Ahh, k. That makes more sense. I posted another thread which goes into more heavy detail on the differences. In theory, if you had two identical channels, same content, same keywords, everything, the CPM should be the same. Now granted, some things will be wonky due to the way the search rank sometimes prioritizes one over another.
