Networks better than adsense?

i cant push more than 50cents per 1000 with current network. I think it's glitched cause it says i have no ads showing properly except for overlay. its been 'fixed' but earnings still didnt go up and network guy said he ran an update again and all ads were showing again so will find out in a few days. but i think my channel is glitchy cause of the way the network was set up or something. i have no clue but if earnings dont pick up in 7 days i get let go. so gonna see how adsense earnings work out but like features of a network
By that I meant. my network manager said your ads aren't displaying correctly. let me fix that. now they should all be displaying. and what i like about networks is instant monetization. it was a real pain in the past

Oh that's strange 50 cents, who are you partnered with, I would suggest just find a better network like Creative Nation, Curse something like that.

i dont wanna say my network. don't wanna bad mouth them or anything. But it's 90/10 which is great. creative nation what could they offer me. the thing I'd only really go for with a network at the moment is 90/10 no lock in. I'm thinking curse but they're gaming and i'm not gaming

Yeah curse is 90/10 with a very high average cpm but if your not a gamer like you said then maybe no point. Do you have skype or something i could message you on their instead of constantly coming back on here.

Dthorpe, just remember that when you get to that size, revenue share isn't everything anymore. I would suggest something @WrecklessEating has suggested here before as well. You don't need advice so much as you need to contact all of the major MCNs and solicit offers. Once you have that, you start to play them off of one another, negotiating to get the best deal possible. Highest rev share, best extras, shortest contract term, etc. A channel that size is easily a $3,000-$4,000 a month channel with fairly moderate assumptions. You should be able to strike a better deal than most members on this forum are aware exist.

I'm always surprised with how people seem to think networks are better than adsense, and are lured by highe revenue shares. Yet in my experience, my CPM from adsense is far higher that what most people report earning from a network. The only thing that would entice me would be an increased monetization percentage (percent of views that are monetizable, not using mobile/ad block). However, there is no way to control that.

The comparison is not valid from one channel to the next, only for a channel itself. CPM is influenced by but not entirely determined by the network.
