Need advice (fullscreen and rightster)

Symph

I'm a dude with a face and I know how to use it.
So basically I found a company called viral spiral who promotes youtube channels and asked them if they'd be interested in promoting me and they are. I've already signed a contract with them making me part of their network but I just got an e-mail saying that before they can get started I have to partner with rightster who I've never even heard of.

They say that they will promote me on and off youtube, like independently. So this sounds like what I've been waiting for, but obviously in order to take this offer I'll have to terminate my partnership with fullscreen, which is scary, I mean it's an honor to be accepted on their team and even though I know I have guaranteed immediate partnership through rightster upon terminating with fullscreen, just the thought of leaving is a little nerve racking.

So first off, how would I even go about terminating my partnership with fullscreen? And what do you guys think of this idea? On viral spiral's website they list videos they've promoted and companies they are linked with and it's all really impressive, they say they promoted charlie bit my finger and alot of other famous videos so... any thoughts?

You need to read the Contract you signed with Fullscreen to be honest, you might find you could have some major issues.....then again it depends on the Contract you signed.

I can't even remember where that contract is, I'll go through my e-mail and try to find it.

It all depends on what your contract states, was their a minimum term and do you need to give notice? If theres no minimum term or youre passed one and theres no notice stuff then I would just contact them and they will remove the partnership from your account and likely pay you the rest of your earnings whilst with them.

Is rightster owned by them or something?

They do seem impressive but I think it depends on what you are looking for, if youre wanting them to help promote your videos and with branding they could do a good job. If its free and the contracts fair then I doubt theirs harm in it.

Spot on - I have two contracts - 1 I have signed and both show different terms 1 is 60 Days the other is 90 Days.

Yeah they take a cut of future earnings, but there is no upfront cost of any kind. So it sounds really enticing, I still can't find my dang contract, maybe it's in gmail.

If youre a partner as in you have thumbs and branding etc then let me know and I will put your partner badge up for you here :)

Are those both with FullScreen?

I would still be careful and ask how much of the future earnings etc you dont want to be tied into say a 50% split of all earnings if youre making a load of money and for life too. Imagine you could be raking in $10k a month and then having to share half of it. Thats the only thing that would put me off if its for a very long contract but if its short term I would go for it. Good luck finding it :)

It actually is 50% on monetization earnings, 20% if it's a licensing deal. But the contract is for 2 years, so honestly, I don't care. I'd give 100 percent if it could get me to being self sufficient and having a large audience, I could give them half for 2 years until they get me to the point my channel grows on it's own, and then not renew the contract if I wanted, it really doesn't matter to me if it gets me out there. I think I'm just going to message fullscreen and tell them, I can't find the contract, I hope they understand.

I would request a copy of the contract, they should have a copy to refer to or something. I think if they do a good job then it will be worth it, I hope for 50% they really do something excellent. I wonder how they go about promoting you though, if its through social networks and on YouTube such then I think thats good.
