Just curious, Gaming channels?

I'm just curious but why are there SO MANY gaming channels?
I think at least 1/3 of the channels I've seen on here are gaming channels! How come they're so popular?
If you're a gaming channel, What are your reasons for making one!

Because they're the easiest to make. You record yourself playing video games for 15 minutes with more or less funny banter. And I guess people like 'em. So there might as well be millions of people making them, right?

I spend 16 hours on each of my videos, rather than 15 minutes. :(
 
My channel is for gaming and I made it because I enjoy playing games and I thought why not have a channel for it. :) And to say this now, I don't expect to become rich or famous from it haha.
 
Besides making a gaming channel because its fun, I made a gaming channel because I wanted a hobby:giggle:
Its fun, easy to do, and you get to play games and be stupid (if you're like me and record you and your friends being dummies)! It's great:happy:

I meant recording it. :)

But I guess I can understand why people like to watch something like that, it's sort of like watching a movie or TV show. It's because they're experiencing something. Kind of like you would watch the Walking Dead to see the experience of a Zombie apocalypse or something.
