Is google+ helpful in anyway?

Hey, I am looking for more advice on getting my channel out there. On YouTube it is not totally my intention, to get millions of viewers, but I still feel I need to get my channel out there a bit more. Tonight I was on YouTube and got a google+ notification from a YouTuber who has around 13000 subscribers and when I went to his google+ page it said he has 83000 views. Well I thought in all that is a great amount of people considering Google+ is notorious for not a lot of people using it. Out of curiosity I checked how many people had visited my page, to my amazement I've had 55000 views, I thought I would have a few thousand at the most. So do you think I could use this to my advantage and somehow use it to show people I make videos etc. Could it be helpful to me? I only have 122 subscribers? And around 5000 views on my YouTube channel.

Question for fun, how many views do you have on Google+ and how many subscribers do you have?

Google+: 14 Follower, 8.098 views

Never cared about Google+ in any way. But I would be interested in it as well, whether anyone is using Google+ to promote his channel.

I have always used it to send email notifications to other people who have me in their circles. To update about videos, but I don't use it as a site I am on daily or anything. But I would think people with more subscribers than me would have more views regardless.
 
We have been using Google+ a lot lately and think it has really helped! But also found that lots of people like my posts but won't watch the actual video.

Still waiting for a pro to do a guide to Google+ because I really think it could help a lot if used affectively.

Subscribers = 210
Views = 8,500

Google+ followers = 60
Goggle+ Views = 107, 324

Never used google+ as a social media site or anything. I have 20,000+ views there though.

I do not know how does it work and how to use it, although I do not think it can get any people to watch your videos on youtube.
 
Currently I think Google+ is not as helpful as it could be as many people have accounts they are not aware off due to YouTube making you have one to login.

I think over time its usefulness will increase. Look at the first few vloggers on YouTube such as Zoella and Marcus Butler and what they have manage to achieve pretty much by being one of the first people to take advantage of an emerging platform before it was too later and its stars were already established.
 
The people I have mostly found there are youtubers that extensively does sub for sub, this is, they just care about you following back but not at all about your videos. And a lot of communities to promote videos where everyone enters to post their videos and leave.
