Intros... Are they really needed?

Hey everyone I was just thinking that is it really necessary to have intros to your videos? Many successful YouTubers have no intros on there videos.. I don't think it's necessary.. What do you think? ^_^

This is a great question. I have an 11 second intro but I'm thinking of moving it to the end of my videos instead.

Intros just give a nice flare to your videos they're not really needed or required

I think there better, the way I see it is when you see just a video, that's how it starts, that's how it ends, just the content. Then your average Joe is going to go "Hey that was a cool video" Then click away to see another "Cool Video". However, if someone has a cool intro/outro. The person is more likely to want to subscribe because if he looks at the view count (Which hopefully is fairly high), then he might think, "Oh he has a following, he doesn't just post random videos" Then he pushes subscribe! Thats just what I think...

well i think it depends on the videos..if your doing let's plays you don't need an intro, but for gameplay commentaries like COD and all that then an intro would be good..
