My first dislike does hurt a little, only because the channel is about my son playing toys and when someone dislike it I taken it personally Lol ... after that I realize as long as my son is having fun, that's all that matters!!☺

Dislikes are usually left by prepubescent teens that think they are affecting someone by doing it. The seasoned YouTuber doesn't give a doodoo. But, you get threads that b1tch about getting dislikes, so they do end up affecting some people.

We get about an 80/20 split on Likes to Dislikes so it's more like a half million likes. The audience for candy can be brutal especially if you don't like their favorites!

Honestly, from my experience being on YouTube, 6+ years, I have found that dislikes don't really hurt you. In fact, it tells youtube that someone was engaged enough to click a button, so it may actually help you. I'm just not 100% sure on that.

Off topic, how close are you to the goal of airstream travel? Are you on youtube full time now?
