There are a multitude of threads stickied in the Strategies forum. Go there and have a read, nobody could tell you anything that wasn't already in there

OKay well like Frankie said but the main things without details are as follows:

Promotion: Facebook,Twitter,Forums,PM's ( Don't spam though )
Quality: Always HD nothing less
Mic: If you commentate then HD sound
Commentate: Always commentate or have voice
GFX: Make sure to have thumbnails when you get them
Be kind: Dont reply to comments you know will get you angry just delete them people will like you if your nice
Get Involved: Reply to all you kind comments and tips ask questions talk to your subscribers collaborate with them

Thanks..Another thing..im thinking of doing a intro..can i put a song in it..like 10 second of the song to the intro..is this copyrighted?

on legal ground you are a bit shaky there, with clips that short its kind of an uncertain area, for safety i'd use royalty free music only or since your a gamer, grab something from a games ost

it is music in which the creator of it has agreed that anyone can use it either completely for free or so long as they link his channel/website etc. in the description of any video they use it in.

Royalty free music is basicly music which is free to use and you can use it in any way you want. It's is free of any copyrights. But, sometimes the artist will ask that you put their name/link in the description/credits of your videos.

if you google kevin macleod, pretty much all his is royalty free.

The song would have to be non copyrighted otherwise it possible it will have third party content, I can help you find a song if you like.
