I have 2 questions...

Don`t fall for those spam comments, YouTube won`t mark a comment as spam if it is not. I will watch and comment on one of your videos now and show you. :)

These spammy comments are blacklisted automatically by YOUTUBE. It saves my time from reading spammy comments.
If someone subs you, you should get the email straight away. However YOUTUBE takes time to update the sub count. Some people just sub and then unsub.
