I hate it....

It is sadly part of the space. Best to just ignore / remove / ban ... and move along. Time and energy are better spent improving your own channel.

I hate it when people are new and create two threads in the same day just to rake up their post count.

And I do dislike people that promote their channels in word and link. But, most of those comments are put in the spam box for approval. The YouTube algorithm is pretty good at that.

I had someone just blatantly post a link to their video of the same gameplay on my video. Nope! Not happenin' :Blackalien2:

I've always disliked outright obvious self promotion or 'Wanna be youtube friends? Sub for sub!!!'
Although, I do occasionally mention if i've done a video of the same topic on a video.. For example, If someone spoke about glasses in a video i would say something like 'Haha, Oh god, I posted a video a while back about glasses but this has given me so much inspiration to do another, This is great! good job!' or.. Something along those lines..
Is that bad, or?
yeah, that's ok. it shows you actually watched the video and you aren't making people leave that channel to go to yours.
But back on the main topic, I agree. sub4 sub and random people asking me to watch whatever video that has 100% nothing to do with the stuff on my channel are annoying.

If someone asks me directly to take a look at a video of theirs because they want honest feedback from me, that I don't mind at all. as long as there is real reason for it. (if it's an animation, or something I could give opinion on)

hahaha i hate those... especially when they try to hide their comment in an not so obvious way... "Hey really nice video... I do X video check out my channel"
