I found my video on some website.

That's the thing.... My video got over 275,000 views from somebody on Liveleak who just copied my video. When I started to hear people reply to my own video about ME copying this video I got p****d! I have TONS of proof that I was there when this video was shot, unlike the people who copied and took credit for it...
Omg that would really make me mad!

Can you sue them?

I don't get the purpose of it. They download stuff and reupload it... seems like a lot of work. Sometimes it is just the youtube video embed, but a lot of times it is a copied video. I don't get why they would do that.

I tried to contact the guy but I can never get a response. I started to get p****d when people were saying I took it from him.[DOUBLEPOST=1355356888,1355356862][/DOUBLEPOST]

This one was definitely not embedded, the person just stole it.

I'd start with a very simple email to whoever runs the channel, look in Contact Us or where ever you can find this information...

Keep it short and to the point.

"This is my Copyright Protected Intellectual Property. I have not given you express consent to reproduce it. I would appreciate your taking it down immediately. "

Link the video in your message anyway possible, a URL link should work.

See if it disappears. If not, wait for a reply (72 hours seems reasonable). If they reply contesting your request this is a good thing, don't fret.

My feeling is once you send the email they will take it down. If not, it really depends on how much energy you're willing to put into having the matter resolved, so start w/ easy steps first.

Good luck, let me know how this works out for you.

Best wishes,

~Dylan
