I found my video on some website.

So... I just googled my user name "retrotulip" and guess what I found. This company posted one of my videos on their website. I had no idea about this, no part of this, whatsoever. At first I was wondering, is this allowed? Then I figured, it probably is because my video is public, and it's posted through my youtube channel, so that means technically the source is there, right? It was just so weird finding that. It actually makes me feel taken advantage of. My friend says it should be the opposite, and that I should feel flattered by it. This is what I mean when I say the people in my real life don't understand what it's like for me being on youtube. They think I'm just being all "ohh look at me and how fabulous I am" which is not what I'm about at all. Anyway, this is the website that is using my face for free. They're selling stuff to get rid of dark under eye circles, and they posted my video of me without makeup where I talk about how I have dark under eye circles, and what not.

There's no need to get upset about this. Every person who posts a video to youtube someone posts it on their site. I've even seen my Vlogs on random a** sites. That is exactly why I put my channel link in the videos.
 
I found one of my videos on Liveleak... It wasn't even a link to my video, somebody just copied it and posted it as their own. It has around 275,000 views on Liveleak and none of these are counted towards my Youtube channel. I guess I should watermark my videos or something. Lesson learned! I just need to find a program that lets me watermark. Does anybody know of a good program to do this?

that is crazy how it wasnt even through your channel.

yeah i guess thats true. it just feels weird to think that potential customers of their website might be under the impression that i made that video for the purpose of being posted on that website, when in reality i have nothing to do with them.

wow this is happening to so many ppl. i see im not the only one. i guess as long as theyre posting it using my link from my channel then i cant really complain, cause its public, and it will give me views in the end.[DOUBLEPOST=1355283323,1355282425][/DOUBLEPOST]is this the equivalent of getting retweeted on twitter, or someone sharing something you posted on facebook? like technically its a social media, and theyre just sharing what you posted.

That's the thing.... My video got over 275,000 views from somebody on Liveleak who just copied my video. When I started to hear people reply to my own video about ME copying this video I got p****d! I have TONS of proof that I was there when this video was shot, unlike the people who copied and took credit for it...
