I figured something out

I like making custom thumbnails in Photoshop because it tests my creativity and will hopefully overtime develop my brain in those areas that are needed also for my video editing.
 
How much do you find custom thumbnails help?

I upload videos without custom thumbnails that get 0 views aside from my own. But I also uploaded a video with a thumbnail I made and it also got 0 views aside from my own.
 
well, a few tips with thumbnails. 1. Make them appealing to the eyes. 2. Videos take time to grow. One thing you gotta have when making videos is patience. I, on occasion, take a day off from making videos just to let my videos grow in views. This helps keep your video count at a steady rate of uploading and gives your older videos a chance to be seen. Remember this: One video can make your channel a success but many videos on your channel could possibly be a waste of space
 
oh god thats rough. i always knew i should be making thumbnails but thats like 15 seconds of extra effort. im gonna try it out though! thanks!
