How did your channel start?

I just posted my first video, and it only got about 20 views in one day, I'm not sure if that's good or bad or what, but how did your channel start?

School project, we had a social media blah blah project, and we had 7 days. After 6 days I told my friend that I couldn't play minecraft with him, even though I wanted to, because I had to do it. He told me I could just record us playing minecraft, and upload it to Youtube, win-win I can do both. Overnight the video randomly got 18,000+ views and I got top grades.

Ever since I just uploaded whenever, but when I really picked up on subscribers around 10,000, I took it more seriously and uploaded more often now it's my full-time job, I'm forever greatful towards my friends suggestion.

well, with my first channel, me and my friend caine were talking about youtubers, and i thaught it would be great if we could make a channel with a bunch of friends. long story short that went to s**t cause i had to many people all in this small channel! I also got taken the mick out of for doing vids (cause i was stupid and told everyone). now i have a channel in which i have told non of my friends apart from my one bestest freind who i run the channel with. atm im doing great

Me and my friend just decided to make a gaming channel together, and we went on skype to come up with a name by typing in random things in the chat.
And so we made the channel, and it was great fun!

My friend told me to start recording so he had soemone to do it with so he helped me build a computer and I believe the first thing I did was a video of me playing Mine z alone

Are you asking how it started in terms of views? My first video also received 20 views in one day, and out of the 10 videos that I have now, the first one also gained me the most subscribers and the most likes. To this day I don't know why that is. I wonder whether YT promotes the first video in a special way.
