Hey, so one thing that I have realized is that my channel grew much more when I uploaded videos ranting about controversial issues (in terms of subscribers and views) as opposed to my rather old random format of talking about anything (aka, "typical youtubers")
So I'd like to ask you guys here on YTTalk, is it better to focus on a certain type of content (ie; in my case, mocking and ranting on Social Justice Warriors and other Crazy People) or a more typical teenage vlogger format (ie; challenges, talk about the same guy/girl topics)
Also, how do those channels that just do Challenges and guy/girl topics and whatnot (ie; Gabe Helmy, Josh Tryhane, Joe Sugg, etc.) even find an audience/grow when a lot of those topics have been covered by every other Youtuber already? Legit curious question.
And do you think doing a mix of both could work?
