The YTTalk Godfather
Welcome.. I tend to ignore the critics that don't give helpful critiques. I mean if it sucks fine, but give me a suggestion on how it might not suck.
Hi everyone, I haven't introduced myself to the Forum yet, I'm Joshua Brandwood, I'm an ameture Youtuber which my channel revolves around big news around the world, I like to put my little spin on the news, and just give it to the public straight - I've interviewed the public in one of my most recent upload, which was a good experience, and I am thoroughly enjoying my hobby making videos.
I understand that my videos won't be getting lots of views/subscribers because I'm realatively new and it's going to take a while to build an audience.
I just want to ask you lot as Youtubers as you'll understand what I mean but does it really wind you up when people sit there and criticize your videos even though they couldn't do a better job theirselves? I totally accept CONSTRUCTIVE criticism but when people just type 'It's sh*t' it gets to me. However, as a Youtuber I try and ignore it because obviously they'll see weakness, not sure whether people do it because I'm doing something I enjoy, and they are unable to do what I'm doing...
Can you lot give me some advice on how to deal with criticism?
Thanks.
Regards,
Josh
