Freedom! Network Experience?

I saw it, I haven't looked into Networks so I can't compre.

@PressRecord, how do you like it, or what do you have to say about it?
To be honest we are not partnered with Freedom. I run my own subnetwork under them. We were tired of being screwed over by networks so we built our own.

Personally the Freedom network is good if you are a gamer. I am not too fond of the 60/40 split, but if I were a gamer I think it'd be one of the better choices out there. I would pick them over n4gtv, tgn, machinima or any of the other gaming networks "that I am aware of" I am not a gamer so I haven't looked too far into it.

Curse is tonnes better than Freedom sorry..

Thats exactly what these companies want to get in your mind. And they get support by scam / money milking companies who just wanted quick, fast money.

But from the management point of view, Lock in Contracts are better for the Channels and for the Company. I could dig deeper in this but without a commercial college or business school degree its hard to understand.
To say is quickly "No Lock in is good" is just a marketing trick to get a lot of channel very fast and then sell the Company.
If you want to build a serious Network, you need to think in long terms. You cannot operate ideal because you have to think that you lose your full and only revenue stream in one day.
What would freedom do if all Partners would decide to leave in the next week? I know its unlikely, but that are important questions the Management and especially the Accounting department has to deal with.

If Fullscreen would use no lock in contracts, and everyone wants to leave tomorrow, 200 people would lose their job, the Us economy would lose millions of $ turnaround money. And thats what they have to think everyday at Fullscreen if they would use no lock in agreements.
You cannot seriously operate a Company with no guaranteed Revenue stream for a specific amount of days.

EDIT:
The Agreement should contain what the Network has to do and what not. If you write in the contract they have to do a good job. Then you can leave if they do a crap job.

Lucky for you I'm a qualified management accountant :) For a small start-up like I assume this network is (purely because I haven't heard of them) a no lock-in policy seems like a great idea, it will bring in creators who would be put off by signing over their channels to a company they have never heard of for extended periods of time. Like you say, once you are the size of Fullscreen, your reputation alone brings in channels and you want to be able to generate a guaranteed revenue stream, but I wouldn't write off the management of Freedom just because they are using a potential loss-leading policy to get into the market.

You are clearly partnered with Freedom.

Internet adsales constitutes roughly 18% when compared to television advertising. Reason? The internet moves too quickly and advertisers want security in their investments. (internet advertising is up by 5% from last year, though) If you get into any kind of conversation with a major investor or advertiser, they want a pitch of projection. If you essentially say that everything you earn and everything you make can walk out the door tomorrow, good luck getting anyone to jump on that steamboat, regardless of reputation because no reputation on the internet is good enough for the big cowboys yet. Internet advertising is ruled by the indy industry right now.

Fullscreen and Maker Studios are backed by major offline investments, which gives them sway with advertisers... what does Freedom have?

You are clearly partnered with Freedom.

I am partnered with My network, that is under freedom. I know who I am partnered with lol. If you check socialblade it will say we are under Freedom because my network is under freedom. Socialblade doesn't list the subnetworks it lists the mcn. But I am partnered by my own network. Clearly. Because I know who we partner and who we don't. Clearly.

For instance my second channel mikekhukuritv is unfortunately partnered with n4gtv. If you go to socialblade it says it is under rpm. Because it is. But I am partnered with n4gtv.

Yup.
