Does video quality have anything to do with lower views?

I hate a laggy video also!! Thank you for your feedback. I usually record using my iPhone, so its not so bad. But hopefully some day soon I will have a new camera and won't feel like this anymore! :) lol

I think video quality has something to do with the view count, but not nearly as much as audio quality. In my opinion I would still watch a video with lower video quality as long as I could hear the person talking

You're right. I study film and one of the things drilled into us is that good audio is more important than camera quality. People are much less tolerant of bad audio and get much more easily distracted by it too. If you've bad audio, you're ruined.
 
Your videos don't look bad. If you are interested in upgrading, get a Canon T3i, they have gone way down in price and you can get one with a lens for about $550. Until then, just keep doing what you are doing :)
