Do you leave Dislikes?

I've never disliked. I feel like YouTube is almost the opposite of sites like Yelp and other review sites where the majority of reviews usually only happen with people who are dissatisfied. On YouTube it usually seems to be the main focus is whether they like the video. If people don't like the video they usually just don't do a thing. That's obviously not across the board or scientifically proven but I think it holds a little water.

I don't really DISLIKE the videos unless the creator is speaking something wrong in the video. E.g. Controversial videos, political videos, celebrity bad rumors etc. Also I dislike those nasty public pranks.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but disliking a video actually helps the publisher, as it is seen by YouTube as engagement. Any engagement is good engagement as far as YT is concerened.

I dislike every dog video.

The first video I ever put a dislike on was the FineBros React World video from a couple days ago. Other than that, I don't like using the dislike option.

I don't leave many dislikes, it's not a feature I really bother with. I dislike videos that have used popular but irrelevant tags and titles to get people to watch and videos that don't really have any business being on YouTube. One video I came across just said "Read the description" and it was a long story about how the creator had got into a fight with their friends and now there was some drama between them. Stuff like that doesn't really need to be broadcast to the world, especially if there isn't anything to watch!

I only Dislike vids that are misleading and that are clickbate cus there are too many that fall for there trap
