Do you leave Dislikes?

When I genuinely dislike a video I don't press the thumbs down. Otherwise I would help do boost it's search ranks. The best you can do in such a case is to leave as quickly as you can and ignore it.

It's different when a YouTuber I enjoy e.g. tries something new and I want to let him know when he didn't do the best job.

I don't believe I have ever disliked a video, but if I would, I would comment on why I didn't like it, and give them a way to make it better. Only way you know if your video needs improving is if you're told about it, so...
 
If it says say "Wacka flacka shoot out" And then i click on it and its just this annoying a** thing that has nothing to do with anything then yes. If i fell it truly wasted my time i will dislike it.
 
I very rarely give dislikes like very rarely. If there is something that annoys me or anything I just go to the next video or back to the home page :P if something DOES happen to grab my attention usually type it out but never dislike.
 
Only when I'm searching for something and I really expect that content to be there... and of course, it's something else with a misleading title, then of course I do it.
But in that case, that video has already gotten tons of dislikes for sure :-)
 
Many here seem to leave dislikes on misleading titles or thumbnails where the correct action would be to flag them. Dislikes actually help the video to rank better.
 
I only dislike if someone has said something downright wrong and against morals in the video, for example I disliked Sam Papper's 'KILLING MY BEST FRIEND' Prank because that was just disgusting.

If you get me to your channel by enticing me through a forum or place like facebook and your video is not what you explained, i will hit the thumbs down button. I never thumbs down any videos i find on my own.
Also if like your on a facebook page that isnt yours and you submit links to your videos or channel that are not relevant or that are just begging i will go to your channel and dislike everything. Just keep it classy out there fellow yt's, don't go around disliking everybody's videos unless they are being a scumbag
